The Speakers House is a full-service speakers bureau that manifested from two of the passions of our President…the dynamics of relationships between individuals and the power of words to empower, inspire, motivate, move people to action. With a liberal arts degree in Humanities from the University of Texas, Lisa Dunavin went from writer and editor of a small publishing company in Anchorage, Alaska to a successful career in commercial real estate in Atlanta, Georgia. During thirteen years of marketing and leasing commercial office space, Lisa worked with hundreds of companies, corporations and associations within numerous industries: American International Group, Allstate Insurance, Amoco Corporation, American Management Systems, AT&T, BellSouth, BellSouth.Net, British Airways, CIGNA Companies, Concert/British Telecommunications/MCI, Cushman & Wakefield, Equitable, Equity Office, GE Capital, GMAC, Grubb & Ellis, Hines, The Home Depot, MetLife, JP Morgan, Motorola, National Credit Union Association, NEC America, Inc., Northwestern Mutual, Pepsi Bottlers Inc., Prudential, The Ritz-Carlton, The Rockefeller Group, Southern Company, Teijin-Dupont, Turner Broadcasting, USF&G, US Sprint, Welcare International.

Although many of these organizations have a different product or customer or market share, each company, large and small, shares one on-going challenge. How do we attract, train and keep the best employees? For associations, the semantics are different, but the challenge is the same. How do we maintain our membership?

The successful organizations recognize that these individuals and the company's relationship with them is the greatest investment they will make in the success of that company. The successful organizations know the investment required goes beyond a desk, a computer and a policies and procedures manual. Success is tied directly to the individual's knowledge that he/she plays a meaningful role in the organization and its goals, that he/she is valued within the organization, and that the organization is making an investment to provide the resources they need to be successful in their chosen profession and in their lives. From this knowledge grows a greater sense of loyalty to the company and the customer. From this point, words like morale, duty and customer service become action words that build success.

The Speakers House is designed to assist you in this investment. Words can be powerful. The right words delivered by a great speaker are empowering.
